...don't waste your time waiting... - The Philosophy Behind Time Glass
Share
There's a word in Swedish, timglas, that means hourglass. It's a simple object. Sand falling from one chamber to another. No pause button. No rewind.
That's where Time Glass begins.
Not with a product. Not with a logo. But with a feeling most of us know too well. The feeling of watching time pass while waiting for the right moment to start working toward the life you actually want.
The moment that doesn't come
We tell ourselves we'll start when things settle down. When we have more money, more confidence, more time. But the sand keeps falling, and the right moment never quite arrives.
Time Glass was built on one uncomfortable truth: life won't wait for you to make up your mind.
That's not a motivational poster. It's a reminder. One we need to see every day, in the mirror, in the choices we make, in our thoughts.
Why a cap?
We started with caps because they're personal. A cap is one of the first things people notice. It sits at the top, literally, and it says something about who you are without you having to say a word. It was also easier and faster than other products we are working on.
We wanted that object to mean something. So we made it clean. Minimal. No noise, no clutter. Just a well-made cap in 100% cotton with a logo that catches the light when it wants to, and stays quiet when it doesn't.
Five colors. One size. One message.
What we're really building
Time Glass isn't just a brand, it's a philosophy.
Every time you put on the cap, every time someone asks about the logo, every time you catch a glimpse of yourself, we want you to ask: am I procrastinating my time away or am I making the choices necessary for the life I really want?
We want to build products that inspire people to dare. To do the hard thing. To start the business, have the conversation, take the trip, make the change.
Because the alternative, waiting, has a cost most people don't calculate until it's too late. We don't want to sit at the retirement home and regret that we never tried.
What are you waiting for?
The sand is falling. It always is.
Time Glass exists to remind you that the life you want is available in the future, if you make the choices toward it today.
